We all know what it looks like, and we might even know some of the names of some of the moves - or we may even exercise them ourselves! ...But how much do most people know about the associations? For example, how much do you personally know about the oldest association in the world? The oldest kickboxing and karate association is called the WKA kickboxing. Not only is it the oldest, but it is also the world's leading karate and kickboxing association (martial arts). How about that.

When you go to the homepage for this association, on wkakickboxing.com, in the middle of the site you are going to find the so called official eventcalendar. Which, as the name says, gives you a calendar of the events. On the left side of the site you are going to see "association news". There you see, similar to the eventcalendar, when some things are held. Just underneath this associations news links you can choose to sign up for the WKA kickboxing newsletter. It's free!

On the right site of the site you see recent fight results - including who just won the world fullcontact title - at a certain weightclass. You can see other world/european titles recently won.

On the top of the sight there are a few buttons that you can choose to click on - that take you to the onlinemagazine, information about the WKA kickboxing, "media", "press", "contact". If you go to the contact button you can contact the association. If you go to press you will have to be registred - because to come into the WKA press area you need both a login and a password. The media site isn't finished as of yet, but will feature "other media", and pictures and videos about WKA. On the same portion of the WKA site you can choose to sign up to be a member of the WKA. On the information button of this WKA site you can go into read about all kinds of things - including the WKA rules, WKA links, WKA forms, WKA karate, WKA divisions, WKA categories and more.
